Number 3

Screened miscellaneous rock. Gray, white, tan, to blue multi-colored rock. With virtually the same benefits as pea gravel, Number 3 is just bigger! Also a byproduct of crushed sedimentary conglomerate, Number 3 is screened to a 3/4 inch size specification. It used as a drainage medium or compactable base material, a decorative addition to planter boxes, flowerbeds, or walkways, and can be applied to the ground of high voltage power facilities to minimize the step and touch potential of current flow.
